Almond butter recipe

lately I have had a lot of people interested in almond butter. I love almond butter, as it is more nutritious than peanut butter. However, the store-bought stuff can be really expensive and loaded with preservatives and sugar. Like the DIY man I am, I made it myself, here’s what I came up with:

Almond Butter:

2 handfuls raw organic almonds

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tsp honey

That’s really all there is to it. Throw everything in a food processor, and blend untill smooth. Depending on you handful size, you may need to add more coconut oil. A word of caution, this recipe is high fat and calorie. I eat a low-carb, no gain diet, so I need this fat. If you don’t follow this diet plan, though you should, eat this with careful moderation. Lastly, to spice this recipe up you can add things like coco powder, or maple syrup. Enjoy!
