Trail Mix Recipe

I have been eating a lot of trail mix lately as a low carb snack. The stuff pre-made in the store can be no better than a candy bar at times, so I decided to make my own. I made maybe a quart to 1.5 quarts for under $10. Here’s the recipe,

16 oz raw organic sunflower kernels

1 bag (grocery store small bag) sliced almonds

.5 bag dark chocolate chips

.5 bag shredded coconut unsweetened

1 bag (same as almonds) walnuts

1 handful of raisins

This mix provides a high calorie snack,  a little handful will keep you going for a while, so watch your portions. Enjoy!
